Western Cape College
Western Cape College
WCC is a state schooling facility that caters for young people aged 4 to 18, and we are focused on being a high quality schooling option of choice for students from the Western Cape communities of Napranum, Weipa, and Mapoon. Uniquely, we also cater for students who enrol with us via our Residential Campus who come from a range of Indigenous communities across Cape York and the Torres Strait. WCC's relatively remote location is not seen by us as a disadvantage, rather our unique setting is as a positive challenge that we embrace and celebrate.
Within an increasingly positive workplace culture, WCC strives to deliver a consistent, high quality schooling experience for all of our students. Our College vision statement was collaboratively developed in 2017.
Our strong business and university links, together with our community partnerships, enable our students to access a wide range of opportunities and pathways that genuinely connect schooling with real world experiences and pathways.
