General Rates: A differential charge based on the rating category and multiplied by the unimproved value of the land (as determined by the State Valuation Service).
Water: Water access/service charge (by unit) per dwelling per annum. Houses and flats are allocated 10 units per year (or 5 units for each rates period).
Residential excess water charges and/or commercial consumption charges may also apply.
Domestic Garbage: This service charge includes a twice per week kerb side collection service.
Sewerage – First Pedestal: Sewerage charges are levied on all occupied land. The charges are based on the number of services ( pedestals) per dwelling per annum.
Sewerage – 2nd Pedestal (Res): Additional sewerage services where a dwelling has more than one pedestal.
